Cost of Services

I am currently an in-network provider in New Jersey with most Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oxford, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, and United Healthcare insurance plans. I am telehealth registered in Florida but am not currently in network with any plans there. Out of pocket costs are determined by your insurance provider. Payment may depend on whether you have a deductible, copay, out of pocket maximum, etc. While Hart to Heart Counseling makes every effort to verify benefits on behalf of the client, it is the client's responsibility to call their individual health plan to verify exact costs for services rendered.

Cancellations

Your Therapist Requires a 24-Hour Cancellation Notice. This is indicated in consent forms prior to the initial session. Cancellations cannot be billed to insurance. You are responsible for the full fee if the session is not cancelled before 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.

Sliding Scale Fee Services

The therapist may choose to utilize a sliding scale for clients presenting with financial need. The therapist reserves the right to choose to work with or deny services to any current or potential clients for sliding scale fee-based services. The use of a sliding scale or reduced fee is dependent on availability of services and financial need. This is determined prior to the initial session and agreed upon between the client/parent or guardian and the therapist. The therapist reserves the right to terminate the sliding scale fee at any time.
