Feeling stuck? At a crossroads in your life? Even the strongest among us can feel lost, unsure, ambivalent, or unhappy at times. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I can help you understand and manage whatever life throws at you, and how to do it successfully. It takes a great deal of courage and vulnerability to take the first steps towards healing. I believe that you have the strength not just to survive, but to truly thrive.

About Me

I believe healing happens when we address the whole person: mind, body, and lived experience. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and meaningful change often occurs when we move beyond words alone. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) who practices from a Person-Centered foundation, meeting clients with compassion, collaboration, and respect.

My approach is integrative and multimodal, combining evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic and mindfulness-based practices. My areas of specialization include Motivational Interviewing, Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Biofeedback, Mindfulness techniques, and movement-based interventions such as Walk & Talk Therapy. My education and training span counseling, clinical supervision, behavioral neuroscience, and coaching, allowing me to support clients through talk therapy, ecopsychology, addiction treatment, and biofeedback-informed care. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan; from adolescents to geriatric clients and families facing end-of-life and advanced medical illness, while also serving as a psychometrist and school counselor.

I provide support for anxiety, depression, anger, grief, substance use, chronic/advanced health issues, and trauma, helping clients build insight, emotional regulation, and sustainable coping strategies. I incorporate yogic concepts, movement, and body awareness to support trauma healing and nervous system regulation, with a strong belief in the mind–body connection. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal in ways that honor both their emotional and physical experiences.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Mindfulness in Motion

Take your session outdoors! Walk & Talk Therapy is a unique approach that combines the benefits of traditional talk therapy with being in nature. Research  suggests that there are numerous benefits to being outdoors including helping to ease stress and further enhance the healing process. Sessions are held year-round at local parks, the beach, on the water paddle boarding, or more! You may even want to bring your leashed furry pal to your sessions. I am American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certified and a licensed coach. An intake session in person or via telehealth is required first where confidentiality and specific documents will be addressed. All Walk & Talk sessions will be monitored via LiveTrack GPS system.

Biofeedback

Build the Mind-Body Connection with Science

Biofeedback is a non-evasive, mind-body therapeutic technique and tool that teaches the participant how to control the body's physical responses to stress. Biofeedback is often used to manage symptoms of stress, anxiety, ADHD, chronic pain, and more. We work together in session to employ relaxation techniques like breathwork, meditation, visualization, progressive muscle relaxation, and guided imagery to calm your body's physical arousal. An ear sensor is used to capture your Heart-Rate Variability (HRV) data. This data gives accurate, in-the-moment readings of your heart-rhythm patterns while you view visual images that react to your ability to effectively utilize coping skills. I utilize the HeartMath EmWave Pro Biofeedback System.
